AROG was an important step in spreading STEM and FRC’s principles in our community for us. The kids who wanted to join the competition first attended some workshops. This went on for three weeks until the day of the competition. This phase continued for 3 days and at the end of this we handed some awards out to our respective competitions. These awards consisted of 3 robot performance awards which were given according to the capabilities of their mBots (the robots we used during the competition). The others were given to competitors we thought that excelled in design, cooperation, safety, had a maker’s spirit or a  really good theme.
